3D Video Converter can simulate a 3D viewing experience by converting standard 2D videos. The application works by applying various methods, such as anaglyph, anaglyph true, anaglyph gray, side by side and top and button. Additionally, you can tweak the output video’s shift and depth.
The converter is very easy to use. All you need is to drag and drop the desired source video onto the application’s interface or use the Open button. Then, you can select the desired method. At any point, you can preview the results by means of 3D Video Player, an application that is installed along with the converter. Then, if you are satisfied with the results, you can start converting. Unfortunately, source files should be converted one by one as batch processing is not allowed. Although it supports a wide range of input formats, this application seems to allow converting only to AVI files. What is worse, it does not let you configure any other parameters, not even output location.
In general, 3D Video Converter can convert videos from 2D to 3D quite quickly. However, the results are not very good, probably because the resulting video is a simulation, not actual 3D.
